We’re absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news with our Jeannie’s Cleaning family! Our founder, Jeannie Witte, was recently featured on the cover of Neighbors of Alexandria magazine, and we couldn’t be more proud. A Humble Beginning That Changed Everything
Looking back at where it all started, it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come. As Jeannie shared in the magazine interview, her cleaning business journey began in the most unexpected way. Standing alone in her living room 15 years ago, she made a life-changing decision to open her heart to Christ and completely transform her life.
“I stood in my living room alone and said, ‘God, if you’re real, take everything away that’s not of you. Change my life so drastically that I’ll know without a doubt you’re real,'” Jeannie recalls in the article.
That moment of faith wasn’t just personal – it became the foundation of everything Jeannie’s Cleaning stands for today. When God showed her a vision of her future cleaning business, she took that leap of faith with just two clients in Highland Heights condominiums. What happened next was nothing short of amazing.
“I just started going door-to-door and passing out a flyer that I had made from Staples, so small beginnings,” Jeannie explained. “But I ended up getting six more clients that way.”
From Small Flyers to Big Dreams
What we love most about Jeannie’s story is how it shows that great things really do come from small beginnings. After about nine months of building her client base one door at a time, God showed Jeannie another vision – it was time for her business to grow in a big way.
And grow it did! As Jeannie shared with Neighbors of Alexandria: “God showed me that it was my time, and we’re going to do this now. And I mean, literally, it just blew up. We ended up doing around 2,000 houses that year. It was all God. I give God all the glory.”
Can you imagine? From two clients to 2,000 homes in such a short time! That kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident – it happens when you combine faith, hard work, and a genuine desire to serve others. Every single day, our team carries forward that same spirit of excellence and care that started it all.
