Jeannie’s Cleaning is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic page structure with a single main heading and logical heading order on each page.
- Descriptive alternative text on images, and labelled form fields.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators and full keyboard navigability.
- Color contrast reviewed against WCAG AA, and data tables marked up with proper row/column headers.
- Support for reduced motion (animations are minimized for visitors whose devices request it).
Assistive tool
We also offer an on-page accessibility widget for added convenience (text sizing, contrast, and similar adjustments). This tool is a supplementary aid — it is not a substitute for an accessible website, and our ongoing work focuses on the underlying site itself.
Ongoing effort & known limitations
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Some third-party embedded content (such as maps, the online booking tool, and the reviews feed) may not be fully under our control. We continue to review and improve the site over time.
