Jeannie’s Cleaning offers four tiers of home cleaning, all priced transparently room by room so you only pay for what you have. Routine cleaning starts at $149, Standard at $199, Premium at $289, and our Ultimate Deep Clean starts at $339. Pricing builds by room: kitchen, bedrooms, full bathrooms, half bathrooms, living room, dining room, office, laundry room, and common areas each have a flat rate per tier. A typical 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home runs approximately $209 for Routine, $294 for Standard, $424 for Premium, or $514 for an Ultimate Deep Clean. Carpet cleaning packages start at $179. We publish all pricing upfront at our website individual service pages. No call required to get a number.
How do you calculate the price for my home?
We price room by room rather than by square footage or hourly rate. Each room in your home — kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, dining room, office, laundry room, and common areas — has a flat price per cleaning tier. You only pay for the rooms you have. A studio apartment and a 5-bedroom estate pay very different rates, and that’s by design. Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
We charge by the job, not by the hour. Your price is determined by your home’s rooms and the cleaning tier you select — it doesn’t change based on how long our team takes. This means you always know your price before we arrive and there’s no incentive for us to work slowly. The time estimates we publish (for example, ~2 hrs for Routine or ~4h 40m for Ultimate Deep Clean) are guides based on average homes, but your final price is fixed regardless of actual time on site.
How do I book a cleaning with Jeannie's Cleaning?
You can book online at jeannies.cleaning — fill out the quote request form with your name, address, and desired service and we’ll respond within one business day with a confirmed price and available dates. You can also call us directly at (859) 750-6618 during business hours (Mon–Sat, 8am–5pm). We don’t require an in-home estimate for most services — standard home cleaning, carpet cleaning, and add-ons can all be quoted and booked remotely. For post-construction or large commercial jobs, we may request a walkthrough first.
Can I get a cleaning on short notice or the same day?
We do our best to accommodate short-notice requests depending on team availability. Same-day bookings are not guaranteed but are sometimes possible — call us at (859) 750-6618 to check. For recurring weekly or bi-weekly clients, we generally have more flexibility to move appointments. For first-time clients booking an Initial or Ultimate Deep Clean, we recommend scheduling at least 3–5 business days in advance to ensure we can properly allocate time for your home.
Do you require a deposit or upfront payment?
We do not require a deposit for standard recurring cleanings. For one-time services and move-in/move-out cleans, we may request a credit card on file at the time of booking. Payment is typically collected after the service is complete. We accept major credit cards, and some clients also pay by check or cash. Details will be confirmed when you book.
Is there a cancellation fee?
We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a fee to cover the team’s reserved time. We understand life happens — if something comes up, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to work with you. Recurring clients who cancel repeatedly with short notice may be moved to a different schedule slot.
Do you offer discounts or promotions?
Yes. New clients who join our waitlist receive 5% off their first cleaning — just provide your email or phone number when booking. We also run an Ambassador Club referral program: refer a friend and they get 20% off their first clean; once their clean is completed and paid, you receive a $75 credit to your account. Referral rewards increase at Silver (1–2 referrals), Gold (3–4), and Platinum (5+) tiers. New commercial accounts also receive their first clean free — up to 2 hours, no obligation, 7-day expiration.

What is the difference between Routine, Standard, Premium, and Ultimate Deep Clean?
Each tier builds on the previous one. Routine ($149+) covers maintenance cleaning — light dusting, surface wipe-downs, exterior appliance wipe, light bathroom wipe-downs, vacuuming and mopping main floors, beds made, and light trash removal. Standard ($199+) adds full surface wipe-downs, mirrors cleaned, spot-clean cabinet exteriors, a deeper tub and shower wipe, sink detail, and more thorough dusting. Premium ($289+) adds baseboards wiped, light appliance interior clean, light wall spot cleaning, full dusting of all reachable areas, and furniture surface vacuuming. Ultimate Deep Clean ($339+) adds inside fridge, inside oven, full shower and tub scrub (soap scum and calcium removal), cabinet fronts deep clean, doors and trim wiped, detailed dusting of vents and baseboards, high-touch disinfection, thorough furniture vacuuming, stovetop and hood detailed, and reachable light fixtures. The right tier depends on your home’s current condition and how often you want professional cleaning.
What is an Initial Cleaning and why do I need one before starting a routine plan?
An Initial Cleaning is required for all new clients before transitioning to a Routine, Standard, or Premium recurring plan. It follows our full Ultimate Deep Clean scope. The reason is straightforward: routine maintenance cleaning is designed to maintain a clean home, not restore one. If your home has weeks or months of buildup — soap scum, grease, dust accumulation, or grime in hard-to-reach areas — a maintenance visit can’t address it in the time allocated. The Initial Clean gets your home to the baseline standard that our team can then maintain properly at every subsequent visit. Most clients find the difference between an Initial Clean and subsequent routine visits is significant, and that recurring visits are faster and more effective as a result.
What's included in a move-in or move-out cleaning?
Our move-in and move-out cleaning follows the full Ultimate Deep Clean scope — our most comprehensive service. This includes inside fridge, inside oven, full shower and tub scrub (soap scum and calcium removal), cabinet fronts deep clean, doors and trim wiped, detailed dusting of vents and baseboards, high-touch disinfection throughout, thorough furniture surface vacuuming, stovetop and hood detailed, and reachable light fixtures cleaned. We handle the entire home from top to bottom so it’s genuinely ready — not just surface-level presentable. This service is ideal for buyers moving into a new home, sellers preparing a property for listing, landlords turning over a rental, and tenants trying to recover their security deposit.
What cleaning add-ons do you offer?
We offer ten add-on services that can be added to any cleaning appointment: Inside Fridge ($50), Inside Oven ($100), Interior Windows ($10 per unit), Dish Reset ($15 per load), Wash & Fold ($20 per load), Garage Sweep ($35), Basement ($75), Blinds ($8 per unit), Pet Hair Detail ($20), and Wall Spot Cleaning ($35). Add-ons can be requested when booking online or by calling us. Some add-ons — like Inside Fridge or Inside Oven — are already included in the Ultimate Deep Clean tier, so check what your chosen tier covers before adding them.
Do you clean carpets? What carpet cleaning packages do you offer?
Yes. We offer three professional carpet cleaning packages. Silver covers up to 400 sq ft (approximately 3 rooms) for $179 with an estimated time of about 2.5 hours. Gold covers up to 600 sq ft (approximately 4 rooms) for $299 and includes a FREE Carpet & Fabric Protector (a $40 value). Platinum covers up to 1,000 sq ft for $399 and includes FREE Pet Stain & Odor Treatment ($50 value) plus a FREE 12-Month Spot & Spill Warranty (a $280+ value). A la carte add-ons are also available: Stairs ($65 per flight), Carpet/Fabric Protector ($40 per room), and Pet Stain & Odor Treatment ($50 per room). Carpet cleaning can be booked standalone or combined with home cleaning.
Do you offer upholstery cleaning?
Yes. We clean sofas, loveseats, recliners, arm chairs, ottomans, and dining chairs. Pricing is: Sectional Sofa (up to 5 seats) $325, Standard Sofa (3 seats) $175, Loveseat (2 seats) $149, Recliner $99, Arm Chair $75, Ottoman $39, and Dining Chair $19. Upholstery cleaning can be booked as a standalone service or combined with carpet cleaning or home cleaning for maximum convenience. We bring all necessary equipment and cleaning solutions.
Do you offer commercial or office cleaning?
Yes. We offer commercial and office cleaning across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, including offices, retail spaces, and apartment turnovers. We offer flexible scheduling including after-hours and weekend appointments so your operations aren’t disrupted. New commercial accounts receive their first clean free — up to 2 hours, no obligation, with a 7-day expiration. Limited availability. Do you clean apartments or rental properties?
Yes. We offer apartment turnovers — thorough cleanings between tenants that follow the Ultimate Deep Clean scope. This ensures the unit is genuinely clean and ready for new occupants, not just surface-wiped. We work with individual landlords and property management companies throughout the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. If you manage multiple units, contact us to discuss volume scheduling.

Do you do background checks on your cleaning staff?

Background checks are not optional or periodic at Jeannie’s; they’re a standard part of our hiring process for every employee.
Are your cleaners employees or independent contractors?
All of our cleaning professionals are W-2 employees of Jeannie’s Cleaning — not independent contractors, not gig workers, and not sourced through third-party platforms. This matters for several reasons. As employees, our team is covered by our liability insurance and workers’ compensation. We train them, we set their standards, and we are accountable for their work. Contractor-based models shift risk to homeowners — if an uninsured contractor is injured in your home, you may be liable. With Jeannie’s, that risk doesn’t exist.
What happens if something is damaged during a cleaning?
We carry full liability insurance precisely for this reason. If something is damaged during a cleaning, contact us within 24 hours and we will address it promptly. Our team is trained to work carefully around fragile items, but accidents can happen. We ask that clients secure irreplaceable or extremely fragile items before our visit. We will never dismiss a damage claim — our reputation is built on accountability and we handle these situations professionally and transparently.
Will I have the same cleaner every time?
We work hard to send a familiar face — because we believe consistency builds trust and comfort. When scheduling allows, we aim to assign the same professional to your home on every visit. Some of our team members have been serving the same clients for years. That said, we can’t guarantee the same person every visit due to scheduling, illness, and team logistics. What we do guarantee is that every team member follows the same detailed checklists and standards, regardless of who shows up.

DAY-OF LOGISTICS
Do I need to be home when you clean?
No. Most of our clients are not home during their cleaning — many leave a key, provide a door code, or let us in before heading to work. We ask only that you provide a reliable way for us to access your home on the day of service. If you prefer to be home, that’s completely fine too. Whatever you’re comfortable with works for us. We’ll confirm access instructions when you book and again the day before your appointment.
Do I need to clean before the cleaners arrive?
No — that’s exactly what we’re here for. We do ask that you pick up loose items, clutter, and personal belongings from floors and surfaces before we arrive. This isn’t about cleaning — it’s about giving our team access to the surfaces they need to clean thoroughly. If floors are covered with laundry or counters are stacked with dishes, our team can’t reach the surfaces underneath. Beyond that, there’s nothing you need to do. Don’t pre-clean, don’t scrub the bathroom — save your energy.
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies and equipment?
Yes. Our team brings all equipment and cleaning products needed for every visit. You don’t need to provide anything. If you have a specific product preference — for example, a particular brand you prefer for your countertops, or a preference for unscented products due to allergies — let us know when booking and we’ll accommodate where possible. If you have a sensitivity to certain cleaning agents, please inform us in advance so we can plan accordingly.
What should I do with my pets on cleaning day?
Pets are welcome — our team is used to working in homes with dogs, cats, and other animals. That said, some pets become anxious or agitated around unfamiliar people and equipment, and some team members have allergies. We recommend securing pets in a comfortable area of your home — a bedroom, crate, or outdoor space — during the cleaning. This protects your pet from stress and allows our team to work without interruption. If your pet is comfortable around strangers and cleaning equipment, you’re welcome to let them roam freely.
How long does a cleaning take?
Time estimates vary by tier and home size. As a general guide: Routine Clean approximately 2 hours, Standard Clean approximately 2 hours 45 minutes, Premium Clean approximately 4 hours, and Ultimate Deep Clean approximately 4 hours 40 minutes. These are averages for a typical 3-bedroom home. A larger home, a home with significant buildup, or a home with many add-ons will take longer. Your first cleaning (Initial Clean) often takes longer than subsequent visits because we’re starting from scratch rather than maintaining an already-clean space.
What if I'm not satisfied with the cleaning?

Do you require a contract for recurring service?
No. We never require a contract. You can book a one-time clean, set up weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly recurring service, and cancel or adjust your schedule at any time — no penalties, no lock-in periods. We believe the quality of our work should be the only reason you keep booking. Clients who want to pause service, reduce frequency, or cancel can do so by contacting us at least 24 hours before the next scheduled appointment.
Can I skip or reschedule a cleaning?
Yes — life happens and we understand that. We ask for at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or skip a visit so we can adjust our team’s schedule and potentially accommodate another client. Recurring clients can reschedule through our booking system or by calling us. Repeated short-notice cancellations may affect your scheduling priority for future appointments.
What if I come home and something was missed?
Contact us within 24 hours and we’ll send the team back to address any missed areas — at no charge to you. Our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee covers this. When you call, please be specific about what was missed so we can address it accurately on the return visit. We also use this feedback internally to improve our checklists and team training.
Should I tip my cleaners?
Tipping is never required, but it is always appreciated and goes directly to the cleaning professional(s) who served your home. If your team did an exceptional job — especially on a particularly challenging clean, a holiday visit, or a move-out — a tip is a meaningful way to show it. Common amounts range from $10–$20 per cleaner per visit, or 10–15% of the total cleaning cost. Some clients prefer to tip monthly or give a holiday bonus rather than tipping every visit. There’s no right or wrong approach.

Is there a travel fee for homes outside your primary service area?
For homes within our standard service area — Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky — there is no travel surcharge. For locations on the outer edges of our service area or in areas we serve by request, we may apply a small travel fee. This will always be disclosed upfront before you confirm your booking. We’ll never surprise you with a charge you didn’t know about.

Yes. We regularly clean homes before parties, holiday gatherings, family visits, open houses, and other events. If you need a one-time clean before a specific date, book as early as possible — especially around holidays when our schedule fills quickly. Our Standard or Premium Clean is typically the right fit for pre-event cleaning, though some clients prefer the Ultimate Deep Clean for important occasions.
